It will get posted eventually but missed the 7am Saturday view when viz was prime. 4:44 am now, dark. I just looked at the ski cams, all in the clouds, snowing heavy at Crystal Mtn. That’s normal for 4/28. Snow in June here is normal. The cold times never left.
It’s been raining, rain, rain here-normal for springtime. Plants love it. Never run out of food. It’s everywhere, if you know what to look for.
Bugs love it too. This year it’s black water bugs crawling across my ceiling at night. Never had those before. They’re getting on my last nerve. I put Combat roach bait on top of the ceiling for them, but still got ’em. Going to put sticky traps up there, too. I don’t like to use poison in the small space where I sleep. I also spray a mixture of water, mouthwash and Dawn soap along the ceiling at the walls every night as a deterrent. If you spray it right on them it kills them, eventually. It also causes them to fall off the ceiling.
When I get up in the middle of the night (when not if) if there’s a bug on the ceiling, I quickly make my bed. Don’t want them getting into the covers. Then I shoot it down, knock it on the floor, and smack the living daylights out of it with my sandal.
Don’t come to Missouri if you can’t deal with bugs. It’s not as bad as Florida or Louisiana,tho.

They ought to be spreading manure on their fields anyway, like the farmers do here in Missouri. It stinks for a little while in the spring, but we get fewer chemicals and more minerals available to our crops and fewer dollars in the pockets of Monsanto and the like.

I just made clam chowder and I pan fry oysters and put them in there. I made zuke bread Friday from last summer zukes. No seafood in MO. Ling cod season opens 5/1 and spot prawn season 5/16. They used to open 3/15.

Ben Davidson says the oceans are going to climb out of their banks during the disaster cycle and the only safe place to be will be the Rocky Mountains.
I find oceans creepy, tho I enjoy some seafood, but don’t get it often here.
Personally, I would love to move to the Rockies, but haven’t gotten the word from God yet on that. He’s pushing me out of here, tho. Just got notified my storage locker rent is going up, so I’m going to have to get at least one of them cleaned up, thus tipping the scales toward moving on. It’s one thing after another now.
I can see the handwriting on the wall. If I don’t get ready to move, He will boot me out of here anyway. Been there, done that, many times. Still don’t know where I’m going.
